Projects - International

The Projects category is open to photographers, artists, and visual storytellers from around the world. We welcome both emerging and established practitioners working across documentary, conceptual, experimental, and interdisciplinary image-based practices. Entrants must be at least 16 years of age as of the date of entry. Selected artists receive a dedicated exhibition space in the form of a festival container during Rotterdam Photo 2027. Rotterdam Photo covers the cost of the container and exhibition space, while artists are responsible for the production and printing of their work. Selected artists receive a 25% discount on production and printing through our partner lab. Artists are also responsible for arranging and covering any shipping or delivery costs related to their works. €29 per entry if submitted before 7 September 2026, 11:59 PM CET (Early Bird). After this deadline, the standard fee of €35 per entry applies.
