Submissions for the Organ Vida Open Call are open from February 18, 2026, to March 18, 2026, 23:59 Central European Time (UTC/GMT+1). The selection of artworks and proposals will be decided by an international jury. Up to 10 artists will be selected, and their work will be exhibited at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Zagreb, opening in mid-June 2026. The Festival will notify selected artists by early April 2026 via email. The selected participants will be announced on the Festival’s social media channels in mid-April 2026.
The theme of this year's Open Call for artworks is Happy Spiraling. Before submitting your artwork, please read the Open Call text.
Up to 10 artists will be selected by a jury consisting of six members: Thomas Conchou, Natálie Kubíková, Daria Tuminas, and the Organ Vida curatorial team (Barbara Gregov, Lovro Japundžić, and Lea Vene).
Each member of the jury works independently and reviews submissions.
Submissions that discriminate on the basis of race, age, color, gender, gender expression, sexual orientation, national origin, ability, religion, or any other factor will not be considered.
The jury's decision is final and will be published on the official website of the Festival.
All selected artists will be notified by email by early April 2026. Due to the high volume of submissions, only the selected artists will be notified. The public announcement of the selected artists is scheduled for mid-April 2026.
