1 DEADLINE

The submission deadline is 13th September 2026, 11:59PM (local time). The organiser reserves the right to modify the deadline if necessary.

2 PARTICIPATION FEE

Submission fee is £10, or free to MPF Members

3 ELIGIBILITY AND SUBMISSIONS

• Applicants may submit up to 3 images
• All submitted work must relate to the theme of street fashion
• Work should be made this summer (May - Sept 2026)
• Images must be taken outdoors, or in public spaces
• Images from commercial fashion projects are not eligible
• No use of AI is permitted
• Entrys are welcome from anywhere on the globe

4 SELECTION AND AWARD

The jury consists of staff from the Martin Parr Foundation and guest judge, Niall McDiarmid.

One selected artist will receive:

• A 20 x 24" print from Martin Parr's iconic series, The Last Resort. They will also have their image included in the Martin Parr Foundation archive collection, exhibited in the gallery window and featured on the MPF website and social media channels.

There will also be several runner's-up prizes consisting of Martin Parr merchandise and photobook bundles from the Foundation shop.

The organiser does not guarantee selection, publication or exhibition.

5 PUBLICATION AND PROMOTION

If selected, you grant the Organiser the non-exclusive right to display, publish and reproduce your submitted work for purposes related to the MPF Awards, including:

• Inclusion on the MPF website and social media
• Display in the MPF gallery window
• A reproduction to be printed at the MPF and kept in the archive collection for posterity

6 COPYRIGHT AND CONSENT

By submitting you confirm that:

• You are the sole copyright holder of all submitted work
• You have obtained consent from all individuals depicted where necessary
• Your work does not infringe upon any third-party rights or laws
• You assume full responsibility for the content of your submission

7 LIABILITY

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Organiser from any claims arising from submitted work that violate these terms

8 DATA AND PRIVACY

Your personal data will be used solvely for the administration of this open call and related communications. Only your name (or artist name) and optional website/social link will be made public if selected.

9 GENERAL CONDITIONS

The Organiser reserves the right to update or amend these terms at any time. If any provision of these terms is deemed invalid, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
