Hasselblad Foundation’s International Photo Book Grants From 2025, the Hasselblad Foundation doubles the amount allocated for its photo book grants and also opens for international applications.
Photo books are an important part of the photographic field and can take many forms. With the photo book grants, the Hasselblad Foundation aims to support and contribute to the development and publication of photobooks.
Two grants of SEK 100,000 each will be awarded in 2025.
The grant is open to all professionals working with photography, including photographers, artists, curators, researchers, and writers.
Applications can be submitted by individuals or groups.
The grants are international.

Preference will be given to projects that meet one or more of the following criteria:
Applications submitted via Picter’s platform must be in English.
Book projects that receive a grant must mention the Hasselblad Foundation as a co-funder, and the book must include the Hasselblad Foundation’s logo somewhere in the book.
The Hasselblad Foundation must receive five signed copies of the published book.
The author(s) of the book must be ready to participate in activities organized by the Hasselblad Foundation related to the grant, such as an award ceremony and other events.
The digital application must be submitted by 23:59 on April 1, 2025.

The jury’s decision will be communicated via email in June 2025.
Written reports, including visual material, must be submitted periodically during the project in accordance with agreements made with the Hasselblad Foundation.
