Maral Deghati is Managing Editor for News Photography at Getty Images. Producing photography and multimedia narratives in collaboration with photojournalists worldwide on issues concerning developing and conflict ­stricken contexts across Asia, Africa and Europe. Beyond her role as a photo-editor for various international agencies, advocating visual literacy, curating exhibitions and educational projects are integral to Deghati’s work with photography.

Philip Blenkinsop started his career as a photojournalist in Asia in 1989. He is a member of l’Agence VU from 1997 to 2007 and one of the founding members of the prestigious Noor Photo Agency. He is an Honorary Fellow of Falmouth University in recognition of his services to photojournalism. In 2022 he launched ‘Zomia’ Gallery and Atelier in Arles, dedicated to documentary photography.

Rodrigo Abd’s career began as a staff photographer at La Razón and La Nación newspapers in Buenos Aires from 1999 to 2003. Since 2003 he has been a staff photographer for the Associated Press. Abd was part of the AP team of photographers that was awarded the 2013 and 2023 Pulitzer Prize for Breaking News Photograph for his works covering respectively the Syrian civil war and the Ukrainian war.
