Tina Ahrens

Tina Ahrens is Director of Photography at ZEIT ONLINE. Previously, she worked as Director of Photography at PHILOSOPHIE MAGAZINE in Germany and was a visual consultant responsible for developing a new visual language for the relaunch of GEO with Art Director Anna-Clea Skoluda and PHILOSOPHIE MAGAZINE with the design duo Meire & Meire. As Senior Photo Editor in GEO Magazine's New York correspondent's office, she oversaw many award-winning productions from 2006-2010. She was an Affiliate Nieman Fellow at Harvard University and Impact Producer for the virtual reality installation "The Enemy." © Foto: Finbarr O'Reilly

Andrea Diefenbach

Andrea Diefenbach is a freelance photographer as well as a professor of photography at the University of the Arts Bremen. Since her studies at the University of Applied Sciences Bielefeld, she has worked for German and international magazines and organizations as well as on personal photographic book and exhibition projects. Her work has received numerous awards and has been exhibited internationally. Diefenbach has held teaching positions at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences and Arts and Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences and Arts and was Senior Lecturer in Photography at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts from 2016 to 2022. © Foto: Thekla Ehling

Ksenia Kuleshova

Ksenia Kuleshova is a documentary photographer and Canon Ambassador. In 2019, she was featured by ARTSY as one of 20 Emerging Photojournalists and one of "The 30: New and Emerging Photographers to Watch 2022″. In 2020, she was awarded the prestigious W. Eugene Smith Scholarship for photography students. Her work has been exhibited and published internationally, including in THE NEW YORK TIMES, NATIONALGEOGRAPHIC, THE WALL STREET JOURNAL, DIE ZEIT. Lars Lindemann
Lars Lindemann

Lars Lindemann is a Hamburg, Germany based photo editor, lecturer and curator. He is the GEO and P.M. family of magazines Director of Photography and Deputy Visual Director. Lars has been a jury member for various national and international photo contests, including the World Press Photo Contest in 2020 and 2021. In 2019 he became an appointed of the German Photographic Society DGPH. He´s one of the founders of the Hamburg Portfolio Review. © Foto: David Kern

Gilles Steinmann
Gilles Steinmann

Gilles Steinmann is Director of Photography at the daily newspaper "NEUE ZÜRCHER ZEITUNG" (NZZ) in Switzerland. He has been a photo editor for over 16 years, has worked for several major Swiss publications and has been involved in covering some of the most historic global news stories. One of his main roles at the newspaper is to develop new ways of storytelling for both print and online to provide their readership with in-depth visual coverage. From 2017 to 2020, he published over 150 photo essays in print and online as "Photo Tableau" to give photographers a platform to tell their stories. Gilles Steinmann has been a jury member at national and international photo competitions such as the Lumix Festival for Photojournalism in Hannover, Germany. © Foto: Dominic Nahr

Andreas Trampe
Andreas Trampe

After graduating from high school, Andreas Trampe completed a photo traineeship and then worked for seven years as a photo reporter for daily newspapers and various magazines (including BUNTE and BILD AM SONNTAG). From 1991 to 1996 he was Director of Photography at BILD AM SONNTAG, since 1996 he has been at STERN. There, he first worked as deputy department head in the picture department and later as Director of Photography for 19 years. Since 2019 he has been working for the magazine as Senior Photo Editor. Andreas Trampe is co-founder of the "Hamburg Portfolio Review" and the stern sponsorship program "Young Photography," in which each year a student receives a one-year photography position at the magazine after graduating from university.
