Aneta Grzeszykowska

Aneta Grzeszykowska primarily works with photography and film, emphasizing their performative dimensions. A central theme in her work is the analysis of self-creation, one of the fundamental themes of art, but also a fundamental issue for the condition of today's post-media society. In her works, Grzeszykowska explores the possibility of escaping the cultural and artistic stereotypes that shape identity. She dismantles her own image and manipulates her body image,ultimately reaching for sculptural substitutes. Aneta Grzeszykowska has participated in numerous important international exhibitions, including the Yokohama Triennale (2024), Venice Biennale (2022), Berlin Biennale (2006) and La Triennale in Paris (2012). She has exhibited at the Sculpture Center in New York, the Contemporary Art Museum in St. Louis, the Folkwang Museum in Essen, and the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, among others. Her work is included in prestigious museum collections,including the Centre Pompidou in Paris, the Salomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York, the Fotomuseum Winterthur, Yokohama Museum of Art, Hamburger Bahnhof Nationalgalerie Berlin and the Museum of Modern Arts in Warsaw.

Agnieszka Tarasiuk
Agnieszka Tarasiuk

Agnieszka Tarasiuk is a Polish curator, art historian, and writer specializing in contemporary art. She has worked with leading cultural institutions in Poland, including the Centre for Contemporary Art Ujazdowski Castle in Warsaw, the BWA Gallery in Białystok, and the Xawery Dunikowski Museum of Sculpture at Królikarnia (a branch of the National Museum in Warsaw), where she served as head. Her curatorial practice explores the intersections of art with everyday life, collective memory, and social space. Often adopting experimental narrative forms, her exhibitions combine contemporary art with historical and local contexts. Tarasiuk has collaborated with numerous Polish and international artists, creating platforms for intercultural dialogue. She is also the author of critical essays and publications on art, and her work has significantly influenced the development of curatorial practices in Poland, emphasizing the role of art in shaping public debate.

Dorota Szulc
Dorota Szulc

Master of Fine Arts, Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, photographer and filmmaker of the young generation, specializing in fashion and portrait photography. Her images tell stories about people, their fragility, and fleeting moments, captured with sensitivity and authenticity. Winner of the Elle Style Awards 2024 and recipient of a KTR award, she creates projects where artistic impulse meets attentive observation of the world.

Tobias Zielony
Tobias Zielony

Tobias Zielony (b. 1973 in Wuppertal) is a German photographer and visual artist whose work focuses on portraying young people and communities living on the margins of society. His projects document subcultures, migrant groups, and socially excluded individuals, offering an intimate perspective while challenging dominant stereotypes. Zielony’s practice merges documentary photography with contemporary art, often incorporating video and text to expand the social and political context of his images. In 2015, he represented Germany at the 56th Venice Biennale with a project dedicated to refugees in Europe. His photographs are part of major museum collections, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Centre Pompidou in Paris, the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam, and the Museum Ludwig in Cologne.

Turnus
Turnus

Turnus is an independent artistic and curatorial collective run by Kamila Falęcka and Marcelina Gorczyńska. It was founded in 2020 and opened its headquarters in Warsaw in 2023. Turnus focuses on promoting young talents and experimental practices through a diverse program of exhibitions and events. With the aim of presenting art within a social context, the space combines several functions – a gallery, café, and shop – bridging the gap between the audience and art.

Yulia Krivich
Yulia Krivich

Yulia Krivich – Visual artist, curator, PhD candidate at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków, educator, and co-founder of the Solidarity Culture House “Sunflower” at the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw. Yulia has participated in numerous international projects and exhibitions in Ukraine, Poland, and worldwide, including: Pla(t)form at the Fotomuseum in Winterthur, Switzerland (2018); Pinchuk Art Center Prize for young artists (2018); the City of Warsaw Scholarship (2021); the Future Photography Platform for emerging artists (Amsterdam, 2021); WHW Akademija, Zagreb (2021); the public program of Documenta 15 (Kassel, 2022); Osaka Kansai International Art Festival (Japan, 2023); Vilnius Performance Biennale (2023), among others. She has curated exhibitions such as Dear Future Vol. 1 (Warsaw, 2023); A Road. Leads. To Stairs in. The Heavens at Plato Ostrava (2023) and Dnipro Center for Contemporary Art (2023); If it’s no war today, it doesn’t MEAN there is no war at the Goethe-Institut in Kraków (2022), among others. Yulia’s works are part of the public collection of the ING Polish Art Foundation as well as various private collections. In her practice, she explores issues related to identity, incorporating elements of activism and collective practices, while also examining her own position as a migrant. Her interests include language, Central and Eastern Europe, and the decolonial movement. She lives and works in Warsaw.
