These terms define the terms and conditions for participating in the Call for the portfolio review of the Revela't Festival 2025 (hereinafter: Portfolio Review Call).
The Contest is organized by the Associació Fotogràfica EspaiFoto. C/Riera de Targa 47, 1st floor, 08339, Vilassar de Dalt, Spain.
Participation in the Portfolio Review Call is subject to a registration fee. (€10 Friends of the festival, €20 general)
The objective of the Portfolio Review Call is to select the 18 projects that will be part of the 6th edition of the portfolio review of the Revela't festival, which will take place on May 23, 2025, in Vilassar de Dalt, within the framework of the festival that will take place from May 17 to June 15, 2025.
The activity will take place in two shifts: morning and afternoon, and will consist of the selected author presenting and commenting, with ten experts from the photographic field, about their project. Each meeting with an expert viewer will last twenty minutes, and these meetings will be linked, with the total duration of the activity being three hours per participant.
Photographers of any nationality, origin, or place of residence, engaged in both analog and digital photography, can apply. There are no age limitations. Minors must be accompanied by their legal tutor.
Each submitted project counts as one entry. Each photographer can submit as many projects as they want, but only one can be chosen and presented during the activity.
Collectives or duos can register, but only one individual can participate in the activity.
The works included in the project must be authored by the submitting person and, under no circumstances, be recorded with the rights of third parties. If there are images of third parties, the participant guarantees having the necessary authorizations.
Each participant in the Portfolio Review Call agrees that the Organizer uses their email address for informational purposes (Newsletter). They can unsubscribe at any time.
Participation in the Portfolio Review Call is understood as the acceptance of its terms.
Project Submission:
Projects must be submitted before 10.02.25
The participant must follow the registration process according to the form on the website, PICTER. The information regarding the participant and their project included in the form must be as accurate as possible.
The PICTER form requests the following information: Regarding the images (between 10 and 15 images, in JPG, at least 1500px on each side), regarding the project description (project title, project description, project year), regarding the author (basic information and biography up to 1500 characters).
The PICTER website is in English, but you can submit your project in Catalan, Spanish, English, and/or French.
The registration fee will be paid on the PICTER website; it can be paid by card or through Paypal.
The portfolio review activity will be conducted in Spanish and English. It is recommended to be able to speak and understand both languages, but it is not mandatory.
The participant has the right to receive an invoice, provided they send the necessary data by email to espaifotografic@gmail.com

The decisions of the Jury are final and cannot be appealed.
The Jury is not obliged to justify its decisions or inform about the progress of the deliberations.
The fee to participate in the Call is €10 for Friends of Revela't and €20 for the general public. Once your project has been accepted, and you have been selected as a participant in the activity, you must pay the amount of €100 as a participation fee.
The discount for Revela't Friends does not apply to the participation fee.
Eighteen projects will be selected by the Jury. The organization will reserve the following projects with the highest score in case any selected participant cannot finally be present at the activity.

All selected participants will receive a FULL PASS to participate in all activities and exhibitions of the Revela't Festival 2025.
The activity will be divided into two shifts: morning (10-13:15h) and afternoon (16-19:15h). You must select the shift that suits you best when registering.
The selected participants must pay the amount of €100 through transfer or PayPal with the data that will be sent to the email provided by the participant. They will have time to make the payment until 01/04/2025; in case of not making said payment, the author's selection will be canceled, and their place will be transferred to the next participant on the list.
The selected participants must be present on the agreed day and time at the exact location in 08339, Vilassar de Dalt, Spain. This location will be provided by email in advance.
The selected participants must present their projects in physical format, sizes should range from A5 to A3 to be comfortably viewed on the tables. Under no circumstances can projects be presented with a computer.
From among the selected participants, one project will be chosen, which will be announced in the fall of the same year to participate in the next edition of the Revela't Festival 2026. The festival will cover the production, assembly expenses, author's fee, and exhibition of the selected project.
Presentations that do not comply with the legal terms of participation will not be considered. In no case will the registration fee for the Portfolio Review Call be refunded. Please read the selection criteria before applying.
Announcements and information regarding the Portfolio Review Call will be published on our social networks (Instagram: revelatfestival) and through our newsletter and website (revelatfestival.com).

The Organizer reserves the right to stop, change, or extend the Portfolio Review Call.
People who do not meet any of the requirements established in these Terms or provide false information will be automatically removed from the Portfolio Review Call.
Participation in the Portfolio Review Call by a participant (presentation of the Project) equals acceptance of the content of these Terms.
In accordance with Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI) and Organic Law 15/1999 on Data Protection (LOPD), the Associació Fotogràfica EspaiFoto guarantees the security and confidentiality of personal data provided in this entry. The user is informed and gives consent to the incorporation of their data into automated files existing in the Associació Fotogràfica EspaiFoto and the automated processing thereof, for the sending of news of interest about its activities. In any case, the Associació Fotogràfica EspaiFoto ensures the exercise of the rights established by current legislation. If you change your mind at any time, you just have to send an email to espaifotografic@gmail.com.
The Organization reserves the right to resolve any circumstance not foreseen in these terms, as well as to make changes to the planned program for reasons of force majeure.
Intellectual Property:
By participating in this Call, the selected ones accept that the Organizer can disseminate the name they have indicated, through its publication and public communication on the internet, both on Revela't websites and on Instagram websites.
The selected ones will be responsible for any claim related to intellectual property, image rights of third parties, industrial or commercial property of the photographs submitted to the Call, as well as procedures, equipment, and sources of inspiration used in fulfilling the purpose of the contest, releasing the Organizer from liability.ive the selection, and the place will be assigned to the next selected participant.
