The promoters of this competition are the Centre for British Photography.
These terms and conditions apply to the Realisation Grants Photography Competition ('the Competition'), which runs until 6 pm on January 15, 2024 (the 'Closing Date').
Entries received after the Closing Date will be automatically disqualified.
No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for any reason.
Entries submitted through any platform other than Picter will not be accepted.
The personal data provided will be used for processing your application for Realisation Grants. It will be shared internally with members of the selection panel and stored for up to 10 years for research, evaluation, reporting, and marketing analysis. Your data will not be shared without consent. To be removed from the database, please email info@britishphotography.org
Application information will be uploaded through Picter, and Picter may use your data according to its privacy policies.
There is no entry fee or purchase necessary for this Competition.
By submitting a proposal, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Employees, contractors, or direct family members of the Centre for British Photography are not eligible for Realisation Grants.
Entries must not infringe the copyright of others, and entrants hold the Centre for British Photography harmless from any claims related to their proposal.
Inappropriate entries may be rejected at the discretion of the Centre for British Photography.
Entrants grant a worldwide, irrevocable, perpetual license to the Centre for British Photography to feature submitted images in publications, websites, and promotional material.
The Centre for British Photography reserves the right to cancel or amend the Competition, with any changes communicated to entrants promptly.
The Centre for British Photography is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied by third parties.
Competition winners will be chosen by a panel of judges appointed by the Centre for British Photography.
The judges' decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
Selected photographers and artists working in photography will be notified by 1 March 2024. Failure to claim the prize within 14 days may result in prize withdrawal and selection of a replacement winner. Selected photographers and artists working in photography will receive their grants in two stages: 50% upon acceptance of the grant, and the balance on September 15, considered the halfway mark of the grant competition period. Works produced with support of the grant should be finished by March 1, 2025.
Top entries will be contacted via the email address provided during submission.
The Realisation Grants are as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The Realisation Grants are not transferable.
These terms and conditions are governed by English law, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
