The promoter of this Open Call is Raw Photo Fest, created and organized by The Raw Society, based in the Balearic Islands, Spain.
Duration of the Open Call
These terms and conditions apply to the Raw Photo Fest 2026 Open Call ("the Open Call"), which will run until 11:59 pm CET on 14 December 2025.
Disqualification
Entries received after the closing date will be automatically disqualified.
Entry Responsibility
The organizers accept no responsibility for entries not received due to technical issues, submission errors, or any other causes beyond their control.
Submission Platform
Entries must be submitted exclusively through the Picter platform. Submissions through any other platform or method will not be accepted.
Entry Fee
Participation in the Open Call costs €18 per single image and €40 per series of 10 images with a 20% discount for The Raw Society members.
Eligibility
The Open Call is open to photographers, whether professional, amateur, or emerging.
Submission Content
Submitted works must not infringe upon the copyright or intellectual property rights of third parties. Entrants agree to hold the organizers harmless from any claims arising from their submissions.
Data Usage
Personal data provided during the submission process will be used solely for processing applications, internal jury review, and communication related to the Open Call. Such data may be securely stored for up to five years for research, evaluation, and promotional purposes. Data will not be shared without consent.
Third-Party Platform
All submission data will be processed through Picter, which will manage information according to its own privacy policies.
By submitting a project, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Participants retain the copyright to their work but grant Raw Photo Fest and The Raw Society a worldwide, irrevocable, and perpetual license to use the submitted images for promotional purposes, including but not limited to exhibitions, the festival's website, social media, catalogues, and press materials.
The winners will be selected by an independent jury composed of photographers, editors, and industry professionals appointed by The Raw Society. The jury will assess the submissions based on originality, storytelling strength, photographic quality, and coherence.
The jury's decision is final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into regarding the selection results.
Selected photographers will be notified by the end of January 2026. They must acknowledge receipt and sign the mandatory participation agreements within 14 days of notification. Failure to respond may result in forfeiture of participation and selection of a replacement.
Selected photographers will have their work exhibited during Raw Photo Fest 2026 in Menorca, Spain, alongside internationally acclaimed photographers and cash prizes as stated in the what winners receive section. Additional benefits may include:
Inclusion in the official festival programme and online gallery.
Visibility through Raw Photo Fest and The Raw Society's media and communication channels.
Networking opportunities with curators, editors, and fellow photographers during the festival.
Benefits are as stated and non-transferable.
The organizers reserve the right to reject entries deemed inappropriate, offensive, or not in keeping with the spirit of the festival.
The organizers reserve the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Open Call at their discretion. Any changes will be promptly communicated to participants.
These terms and conditions are governed by Spanish law, and any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Balearic Islands, Spain.
This Open Call is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by any social media platform or by third parties other than Picter.
Modification of Terms
The organizers reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time, effective immediately upon publication on the Open Call webpage.
