A brown Mexican trans woman with a history of marginalization, violence, sex work among other intersections. In the Netherlands since 2015. Alejandra devotes her activism to the visibility and empowerment of marginalized communities. In 2022 her memoirs ‘De waarheid zal me bevrijden’ was published by Lebowski Publishers. Her book has been selected as one of the 10 rainbow books of the Dutch language, and also nominated for the Opzij Literature Prize. In 2023 she was awarded the Winq Community Award.

Assitant curator at FOMU, Antwerp and Co-founder of Dis Mon Nom

Born in Marseille, Deborah CLAIRE lives and works between Brussels and Antwerp. As a graduate of ESA Le 75 in Brussels and the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, Déborah transitioned from photography to curation and event programmation. Co-founder with Erell Hemmer of the collective Dis Mon Nom, they organize multiple events highlighting minority communities within the cultural sector and co-curated with Zeynep Kubat the jubilee edition of Currents #10, at Marres, Mastricht. In parallel, since January 2023 she has been assistant curator at FOMU in Antwerp. There, she co-curated the 11th edition of .tiff, a professionalization program for emerging visual artists.

She was always busy with films, theater and museums. No wonder she decided to study Museology, now Emma is working as Curator Public Program at the Amsterdam Museum. Emma is specialized in connecting young (local) audiences to cultural institutions..

Visual Artist specialized in photography and narrative

Diego is a visual artist specialized in photography and narrative, who lives between Mexico and Switzerland. He uses photography as his main means of creation exploring along with other media such as writing, painting, drawing and video; to investigate his identity, sexuality, culture, religion and family as systems of silent violence. He has received different awards around the world and has been named one of the most influential young photographers in the world by global media such as: The British Journal of Photography; Creative Review UK and FOAM Magazine, Netherlands. His work is part of solo and group shows, as well as public and private collections in LATAM, America, Europe, Asia and Africa.

Photographer, Filmmaker, Visual Artist, Curator

Mohamad is an artist, photographer, filmmaker and curator based between Beirut and Istanbul. He is also Editor in-Chief and Creative Director of COLD CUTS magazine, the photo journal exploring queer cultures in the SWANA region. Focusing on untold stories of Beirut and uncovering the rich yet eradicated queer histories of the Arab-speaking region, his work has been exhibited at the Brooklyn Museum (US), FOAM (NL), L’Institut du Monde Arabe and the Institute of Islamic Culture (FR), amongst many others. His films have been screened and awarded at prestigious international festivals. He also frequently works with high-end brands like Gucci, Vogue US, Fendi, GQ and many more to create and direct narrative fashion films and music videos. Lately, he has dedicated his time to working on what is arguably the first ever archive of trans* histories in an Arab country, a project entitled ‘Treat Me Like Your Mother: Trans* Histories From Beirut’s Forgotten Past.’
