In 2026, we commemorate the great architect Antoni Gaudí on the 100th anniversary of his passing, coinciding with Barcelona's status as the world capital of architecture. Gaudí based his architecture on a synthesis of the sciences and the arts, imbued with his fascination for nature. His works are impregnated with a spirituality stemming from his firm conviction that the laws of creation are found in nature, which he set out to investigate and apply to his projects.
Following this understanding, the Antonio Gaudí Foundation is organizing the "Nature in Gaudí" Photography Contest, which will award a first prize of € 5.000, the "Ángeles Omedas Millán" Prize, in homage to one of the Foundation's benefactress, and two second prizes of € 500 each.
Photographers, architects, and the general public are expected to unleash their creativity and reflect the inspiration from nature that Gaudí's work synthesizes.
Prizes:
FIRST PLACE. "ANGELES OMEDAS MILLAN" AWARD: 5.000 €.
SECOND PLACE (x2): 500 € each.
