Artistic director, Robert Capa Contemporary Photography Center, Budapest, Hungary

István Virágvölgyi worked at Hungary’s leading news portal Origo as photo editor and head of photography (2007–2011), then led the photo desk at MTI Hungarian News Agency. From 2014–2019, he lectured at Budapest Metropolitan University, and in 2022–2023 taught photo history at Moholy-Nagy University. Since 2014, he has curated the Robert Capa Contemporary Photography Center and became its artistic director in 2022. He is secretary of the Capa Grand Prize Hungary, editor of the Weekly Fortepan blog, cultural advisor to the Pannonhalma Archabbey, and volunteer editor at Fortepan.

Art historian, curator, and exhibitions director

Rodrigo Orrantia is an art historian, curator, and exhibitions director, specialised in photography and lens-based media. His research focuses on the connections between photography, geography, and place, with a particular interest in the relationship between humans and the natural world. Over the past two decades, Orrantia has curated exhibitions and publications that challenge traditional notions of the photographic medium. He has been a juror for the World Press Photo Long-Term Projects, and a winner of the Landskrona Foto Open Call.

Jenny Lindhe has a background in fine-art photography and works as a curator and artist. She is a curator at Landskrona Foto, Landskrona Museum and Arthall. She is also the founder and organiser of the book prize Landskrona Foto & Breadfield Dummy Award. Ten years ago she started her own Publishing House, Breadfield Press in Malmö. Breadfield Press focuses foremost on the photographic sketch, the working method so to say behind the finished product.

Jenny Nordquist is the Artistic Director for Landskrona Foto. She has a background in fine-art photography and education. Previously she worked as freelance Artistic Director for the Landskrona Foto Festival and was head of photography at Östra Grevie College in Sweden. She co-founded KONTORprojects, an artist-run gallery in Copenhagen and for six years she was in charge of its exhibition program with a focus on contemporary international photography.
