Francesca Hummler is a German-American curator, educator, and artist based between London and San Diego. Since 2022, she has served as Community Manager and Program Curator at Der Greif, where she leads curation, partnerships, publications, and events. In 2024, she launched Der Greif’s Face-to-Face program at Les Rencontres d’Arles and spearheaded a symposium on AI in Photography with FOAM Magazine, Photoworks, and The Photographers’ Gallery during Paris Photo. She holds an MA in Photography with distinction from the Royal College of Art and previously worked as Educational Delivery Manager and Photography Tutor at Photofusion, where she curated exhibitions and led community-centered photography programs. Francesca is also a freelance Curator and Researcher for the Mid-America Arts Alliance (M-AAA) and has served as a portfolio reviewer for FORMAT25, Photo-Match at Fotofestiwal Łódź, Shutter Hub YEARBOOK, UWE Bristol Photography BA Degree Show, and Offspring Photo Meet.
Jelena Janković has been the Programme Director of the Sarajevo Photography Festival since 2023, where she fosters dialogue and presents diverse perspectives in contemporary photography, creating opportunities for artists, curators, and audiences alike. Originally from Belgrade and currently based in Zagreb, she is active throughout the Balkan region. Jelena teaches photography at Algebra University and is a member of the Space Shuttle art collective, both based in Zagreb. Also a photographer and visual artist, her work explores human nature, the nuances of relationships, movement, and emotions across diverse photographic genres. Her work has been exhibited and published internationally and has received numerous awards.
Emmanuelle Halkin is an independent curator and editor, with a degree in Art History from the École du Louvre and the Sorbonne. For over 15 years, she has supported emerging photography and socially engaged artistic practices, with a focus on underrepresented narratives. She has been part of the Fetart collective since 2014, contributing to the development of Circulation(s) festival. From 2017 to 2021, she co-founded and curated The Anonymous Project, notably presenting The House at the Rencontres d’Arles in 2019. Since 2021, Emmanuelle has been the artistic director of the Rencontres Photographiques du 10e, and since 2022, associate curator at Diaphane, a Contemporary Art Center in northern France.
Tereza Kozinc is a photographer whose life can be read within her photographic motives; she explores the medium of photography in an impulsively poetic way, centered around themes of motherhood, home, and community. Her work has been exhibited and awarded internationally. Tereza has been part of the Kranj Foto Fest team almost from the beginning and has been co-curating the festival's exhibitions since 2024. She has been helping other photographers as an editor in developing and editing projects in Paris and in Ljubljana. In 2018, she co-founded the East to East Photography platform together with photographer Klavdij Sluban and organized several photographic workshops across the Balkans. Her photographic work is represented by Galerija Fotografija in Ljubljana.
Fernanda Prado Verčič is the Founding Director of Kranj Foto Fest. Originally from São Paulo, Brazil, she has been based in Kranj, Slovenia, since 2011. She is actively engaged as a jury member, portfolio reviewer, and nominator for major photography festivals and institutions. Fernanda plays a key role in connecting photographers with significant venues in Slovenia and internationally. Driven by a strong interest in discovering new work, she consistently seeks out photographers who push the boundaries of the medium and explore new approaches to visual storytelling. Her work is guided by a clear commitment to creating opportunities for photographers to present their work and to fostering a vibrant photography community that brings together artists, critics, and audiences. She is also the Artistic Director of OKO Photo Festival Bohinj, held in Slovenia’s Triglav national park.
