About

Are you an emerging photographer with a complete, unpublished body of work? The Inglewood Photography Festival is excited to announce its Book Grant—an incredible opportunity to publish your first book, with international distribution and a featured exhibition at the Inglewood Photography Festival!

What you'll receive:

  • Published book of your winning project, distributed internationally

  • Exhibition of select works at the Inglewood Photography Festival

  • Mentorship from Nicholas Fahey of the Fahey/Klein Gallery to help guide your fine art career

How to submit:

  • Submit at least 50 images of your project via Picter.com

  • Submission fee: $10 per project

  • Open to emerging photographers who have not yet published a book (self-published is acceptable)

Important Dates:

  • Submissions open: October 28, 2024

  • Submissions close: December 9, 2024

  • Winner announced: January 1, 2025

Judging Criteria:

Our judges – Everard Williams, Director of Photography at ArtCenter College of Design, and Nicholas Fahey of Fahey/Klein Gallery – are looking for cohesive, thematic, and fully realized bodies of work that are ready to be published. Please note that this is for finished projects, not works in progress.
