On this page you can easily find out if you are eligible to participate in this contest.
Emerging photographers from anywhere in the world who have not yet published a book are eligible to submit. Self-published books are allowed, but the project submitted must be their first professionally published book. There are no age or experience level restrictions.
There is no specific theme for the Inglewood Photography Festival Book Grant. We are looking for complete, cohesive book concepts that showcase a fully realized body of work. The project can be in any genre or style of photography, as long as it is ready for publication.
Photographers should submit at least 50 images that represent a finished, cohesive body of work ready to be compiled into a book. The submission should reflect a fully realized project, not a work in progress.
The winner will receive mentorship from Nicholas Fahey of Fahey/Klein Gallery to help advance their fine art photography career, and 50 copies of their published book with international distribution.
There is a $10 submission fee per project, and photographers are welcome to submit as many projects as they like.
The contest is hosted by the Inglewood Photography Festival, with Nicholas Fahey of Fahey/Klein Gallery and Everard Williams, Director of Photography at Art Center College of Design, serving as judges and mentors.
