The International Women in Photo Association (IWPA) is pleased to announce the Open Call 2023 running from the 1st of Mai to the 31st of June 2023 to women photographers ( *) of all origin, working in any field of photography. The Jury is composed of eminent figures from the art and photography community, chooses one laureate, and 4 runners up and special mentions. Their works will be shown to a diverse audience with itinerant exhibitions around the world. Revealing women’s voices for change, we strive for women photographers ( *) to gain global recognition and share their narratives on a global scale. ( *) and those who identify as women.

Created by women for women, the International Women Photography Association (IWPA) is a non-profit association founded in 2001. Acting on a global scale, our VISION is to improve women's rights and freedoms, to build societies that are inclusive, diverse and solidarity, and to achieve gender equality Our mission is to encourage women (*) to express their visions through photography, to empower themselves and take part in the social decision-making process. The lack of women's narratives perpetuates gender inequalities and is particularly acute in the photography sector. In order to promote women photographers of all origin and their narratives, the International Women In Photo Association (IWPA) organizes the IWPA Award every year.

The photographs will be judged based on the photographic and artistic skill, emotion, impact and originality by a jury of eminent personalities from the world of photography.
