Jurors
Clément Beraud
Clément Beraud

Clément Beraud (b. 1988) is an art worker based in Helsinki, specializing in photography and moving images. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Photography from Paris (2011) and a Master's degree in Art and Media from ViCCA, Helsinki (2023). Beraud's curatorial practice focuses on landscape perception, visual art narratives and their societal impact. Beraud's artistic practice and curatorial endeavors are deeply rooted in exploring the nuances of landscape perception and visual storytelling, particularly through the lens of Finnish culture and society. With a keen interest in social class issues, his work often reflects on the intersection of art, politics, and everyday life. His extensive experience includes producing, curating, and installing exhibitions, with roles ranging from technician and art handler to producer and curator.

Natalia Kopkina
Natalia Kopkina

Natalia Kopkina (b. 1984) is a photographic artist and publisher based in Helsinki. Kopkina is a co-founder of the Finnish Darkroom Association and the artistic director of the Helsinki Analog Festival. She collaborates with bookbinder Juha Markula, producing artists’ books and photography-related publications under her imprint I am not Publishing, founded in 2018. She holds an MA in Photography from Aalto University.

Katri Krohn Lassila
Katri Krohn Lassila

Katri Krohn Lassila (b. 1979) is a photographer, a Doctor of Arts from Aalto University and the chair of the Association of Finnish Photographic Artists. Her expertise lies in fine art gelatin silver prints, characterized by technical precision and tonal depth, which she has focused on for over two decades. She instructs darkroom courses at Aalto University, the Finnish Museum of Photography, and the Finnish Darkroom Association, where she is also the vice-chair and a founding member. Over the past decade, Katri has expanded into diverse artistic domains including moving image, painting, and alternative photography while merging them with analogue techniques.

Hikari Nishida
Hikari Nishida

Hikari Nishida (b. 1997) is a French-Japanese visual artist based in Helsinki. She graduated from HEAR Academy of Fine Arts in Strasbourg, France in 2019. Nishida's artistic work focuses on collective projects, art publishing and installation art. In 2021, she founded The Temporary Bookshelf, an artist-driven platform for presenting and distributing publications as a form of visual art. Nishida is the co-founder of Under the Leaf art book fair and runs ttbbooks press.
