The grants are open to all professionals working with photography, including photographers, artists, curators, researchers, and writers.
The book may be in any language; however, the project description must be submitted in English. Books not published in Swedish or English should have a translated text added in the project description if the text is of importance for the work.
The grants are intended for book projects that are largely edited and designed. The book must not yet be published.
If you present the work as a mockup you should make it clear if the mockup is physical or made with AI or other digital tools.
The Hasselblad Foundation was established by Erna and Victor Hasselblad in 1979 with the aim of supporting research and academic teaching in the natural sciences and photography. This is achieved by awarding grants and stipends to the natural sciences and photography, the prestigious Hasselblad Award and stipends and grants to research projects in photography.
