Martin Amis is a British photographer, publisher and bookstore owner living in Kent, United Kingdom. He is passionate about the significance and ongoing development of the photobook medium and in 2007 founded Photobookstore.co.uk one of the leading photobook outlets. As well as supporting many independent publishers and self-publishing photographers over the years, he also set up his own imprint Photo Editions in 2021 which has published 8 books including his own titles “This Land” and “Closed”. His yet untitled forthcoming photobook, a continuation of his long-term project documenting environmental change is scheduled to be released in 2025.
Born in Tokyo in 1986 and began his curatorial career at Tokyo Photographic Art Museum in 2013. He has organized numerous exhibitions for TOP, including “Alec Soth: A Room of Rooms”, “Revolution 9: Homma Takashi”, “MATSUE TAIJI: makietaCC”, “Photography in the Ryukyu Islands”, “Photography and Fashion Since the 1990s”, “Things So Faint But Real: Contemporary Japanese Photography vol. 15”, “Nagashima Yurie: And a Pinch of Irony with a Hint of Love” and “In the Here and Now - TOP Collection: Scrolling Through Heisei Part 1”. Part-time lecturer at Joshibi University of Art and Design.
Deborah Klochko was the Lawrence S. Friedman Executive Director and Chief Curator of the Museum of Photographic Arts from 2006-2023. She has over 40 years of experience as an educator, director, and curator. She has curated over 35 exhibitions throughout her career, and she was also the executive editor of “See”, an award-winning journal of visual culture. Most recently, Klochko curated the traveling exhibition “Moment in Time: A Collection of Photographs” for Bank of America, “The Time Between: The Sequences of Minor White”, “Encounters: Photographs by Jed Fielding”, “Storyteller: Work by Holly Roberts”, and “Picture This: Recent Acquisitions”.
Sonia Voss is an exhibition curator. Her exploration of East German photography led to the exhibition « Restless Bodies » at the Rencontres d'Arles 2019 and several related books published at Editions Xavier Barral/Atelier EXB, Koenig Books, and Hatje Cantz. Her research has since extended to Eastern Europe. She curated the Louis Roederer Discovery Award section at the Rencontres d'Arles 2021. She also accompanies artists such as Isabelle Le Minh and Tarrah Krajnak. Occasionally, she delves into archives, such as that of Uraguchi Kusukazu, whom she introduced to the public in 2024 (« Ama », Rencontres d'Arles). She lives and works in Paris and Berlin.
