G. Kühnhardt Alvarez (dey/deren) works artistically, curatorially, and collectively in the visual arts and culture. In order to decentralize entrenched hierarchies and discriminatory reproductions within the local art context, dey employs the tools of intimacy, awareness, and “cuteness.” Currently, dey is part of the International Photoszene Festival Cologne, where dey is committed to diversity with a special focus on queer issues. Dey has received, both collectively and individually, among others, the Solitude Fellowship from Akademie Schloss Solitude (2023/24), the Mannheim Democracy Prize (2022), and the Futuress.org: Against the Grain Fellowship (2021).

Jay Ritchie (they/he) is an artist based in Berlin whose practice combines inter- and transdisciplinary approaches. Their work includes installations, photography, video performances, and text-based pieces that challenge normative structures through queer-feminist and intersectional perspectives. Thematically, they focus particularly on identity, queer visibility, and gender as a fluid continuum. Jay Ritchie graduated in 2022 as a postgraduate master class student from the Academy of Fine Arts Leipzig (Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst) and is, among other honors, a recipient of gute aussichten – junge deutsche fotografie 2020/21.
Han Vogel (dey/dem) is an artist and curator based in Berlin. Han Vogel’s artistic and curatorial approach is an extension of the self, with deren thinking always shaped by the collective, by deren own experiences, and those of others. Through photography, drawings, and installations, Han Vogel engages with queer visibilities, identities, bodies, multiperspectivity, and power structures. Interwoven with this are themes such as belonging, care, and mental health. Han studied Art History as well as History and Theory of Photography at the University of Cologne. After working primarily in the curatorial field for several years, dey has been increasingly dedicating themself to their own artistic practice again since mid-2023.
Han Vogel (dey/dem) ist Künstlerin und Kuratorin aus Berlin. Han Vogels künstlerischer und kuratorischer Ansatz ist eine Erweiterung des Selbst, wobei deren Denkweise immer vom Kollektiven, von deren Erfahrungen und von Erfahrungen anderer geprägt ist. In Fotografien, Zeichnungen und Installationen setzt sich Han Vogel mit queeren Sichtbarkeiten, mit Identitäten, Körpern, mit Multiperspektivität, und Machtstrukturen auseinander. Damit verwoben sind Themen wie Zugehörigkeiten, Care und mentale Gesundheiten. Han studierte Kunstgeschichte sowie Geschichte und Theorie der Fotografie an der Universität zu Köln. Nachdem dey mehrere Jahre hauptsächlich im kuratorischen Bereich tätig war, widmet Han sich seit Mitte 2023 wieder vermehrt der eigenen künstlerischen Praxis.
Sonya Winterberg (all pronouns) is a curator, director, and publicist (L-MAG, RIFFReporter). As a recognized expert in visual storytelling, she has curated numerous photo books and exhibitions by renowned photographers. Most recently, she directed the documentary Anja Niedringhaus: Die Fotografin und der Krieg (Anja Niedringhaus: The Photographer and the War), which will premiere in autumn 2025. Her work operates at the intersection of photography, contemporary history, and queer-political reflection. She lives in Halifax, Canada. winterberg.media
Sarnt Utamachote is a Southeast Asian nonbinary filmmaker and curator in Berlin. Their work explores the intersection between activism and contemporary art through intense archival research and community-based collaborations. They curated the exhibition “Young Birds From Strange Mountains” at Schwules Museum 2025 and “In Nobody’s Service” at Galerie Wedding 2024, dealing with traces of queer shamans and women migration from Southeast Asia. They furthermore research about exiled Cambodian artists who studied in East Germany, resulting in exhibition in D21 Leipzig 2022, "Echoes of Brother Countries" HKW Berlin 2024 and "Dislocations-within reach" Kunst Raum Mitte 2025. They are part of collective Cruising Curators, currently with the project “Dissident Paths” at nGbK 2025-26, and collective un.thai.tled. They work as a film programmer for XPOSED Queer Film Festival Berlin, Short Film Festival Hamburg and Sinema Transtopia (now with program "The past is not another country" with German Film Museum Frankfurt). Their short film “I don’t want to be just a memory” premiered at the 74th Berlinale 2024. @sarntolstice
Paura Diamante is a musician, event organizer, journalist, and DJ. She is co-producer of the queer synth and minimal wave party series “Eisengrau” and the two-day Berlin music festival “Lieber tot.” She has released several albums on the Young & Cold Records label. As part of her work for the queer city magazine Siegessäule, she successfully co-organizes major queer events such as “Queer Summer Splash” and the drag event “Queens & Flowers.” For over 15 years, she was responsible for the cover photos and photo shoots for Siegessäule, bringing a trained eye for (queer) photography to the Gaze jury.
