Terms and Conditions

The FoMe open call is open to photographers:

• Over 18 years old, of any nationality.
• Who are not represented by a gallery in Mexico at the time of entry.
• Who are the sole authors of the submitted images and hold the necessary permissions for their exhibition and sale.

Entry is individual and free of charge. Collective submissions and co-authored works are not eligible. Members of the organizing team and jury may not participate.

• Artwork eligibility: AI-generated or AI-modified images, photographs previously commercialized or included in an existing commercial edition, and works subject to third-party representation, exclusivity or sales agreements are not eligible.
• Copyright: Participants retain copyright to their work. Production funded by FoMe and the granting of the Premio FoMe do not constitute acquisition of the work or transfer of copyright.
• Use of images: Submitted photographs will be used solely for registration and evaluation. Public use of images that are not selected will require additional permission.
• Selected artists will grant FoMe a non-exclusive, worldwide authorization, effective from the publication of the results, to exhibit, document and promote their work in connection with this edition. This authorization covers the website, social media, catalogue, exhibition materials, press communications and audiovisual documentation of the exhibition. Published records may remain in FoMe’s historical archive, identified with the corresponding edition.
• Images will not be altered beyond technical formatting adjustments that preserve their integrity.
• Sales and collection: All selected works must be available for sale. Artists will receive 65% and FoMe 35% of the sale price, excluding taxes. Unsold works must be collected at the close of the fair by the artist or an authorized person. FoMe will hold them for only 24 hours after the fair closes.
• Participation constitutes acceptance of the full rules and privacy notice. Failure to meet requirements or deadlines may result in disqualification.
