By submitting an entry, each contestant agrees to the rules of the contest and confirms that they are 18 years old or older, or have permission to enter from their parent or legal guardian.
Previous winners are welcome to participate again, but they may not submit any winning entries from prior year(s).
FMOPA will never sell your images. You will retain full rights to your photograph including copyrights, provided, however, by entering the contest, you grant FMOPA (and those authorized by FMOPA), a royalty-free, world-wide, perpetual, non-exclusive license to publicly display, distribute, reproduce, in any media now existing or later developed, for the purpose of promoting FMOPA and the IPC competition using all or any portion of the entrant’s winning images. Any photograph reproduced will include a photographer credit as is feasible in FMOPA’s judgement. The physical prints that are produced to be displayed in the winner’s exhibition are the sole and exclusive property of the Florida Museum of Photographic Arts Collection. FMOPA may deaccession any IPC print from the Collection at any time.
All entrants will protect, defend, indemnify and hold harmless FMOPA, contest sponsors and their respective, directors, officers, employees, agents and volunteers (the “Indemnified Parties”) from and against any and all claims asserted of any nature or description arising in connection with entrant’s participation in the contest and acceptance or use of any prizes. The Indemnified Parties shall not be liable for any costs, damages, injuries or other claims asserted or incurred as a result of entrants’ participation in the contest or winner’s acceptance and use of any prizes. The Indemnified Parties are not responsible for incomplete or misdirected entries, technical or network malfunctions or failures or any other causes. Entrants are solely responsible for their entries, however, FMOPA will attempt to assist with technical issues in connection with submission of entries through the Picter Support Team.
The contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law. In its sole, absolute and arbitrary discretion, FMOPA reserves the right to (i) cancel the contest or modify these rules at any time, (ii) award or not award the prizes in the event of any dispute regarding any entrant or the winners, and (iii) disqualify any entrant or submission for any reason. The decisions of FMOPA are final and binding.
Due to the public nature of the exhibition location (Tampa International Airport) entries depicting nudity and/or violence will not be accepted for this contest.
