Barbara Čeferin, owner of Galerija Fotografija gallery, lives in Ljubljana, Slovenia. After studying Spanish language and literature and Ethnology at University of Ljubljana, she worked, from 1989 till 1993, as a freelance photojournalist, then as a photographic editor for Slovenian magazine and as a photographer for various Slovenian theatres. Her photographs were published in most Slovenian as well as in some Yugoslav newspapers and magazines. In 2003, she decided to quit her job as a photographic editor and opened her own gallery for photography Galerija Fotografija gallery which was the first private gallery specialized in photography and photo based art in Slovenia. The motivation behind the founding of Galerija Fotografija gallery was to make fine art photography better known to the Slovenian public at large and to act as something of a forum for those active in the photographic arts circles as well. In addition, she has sought to create a market for fine art photography which until then, had been largely non-existent. 
The gallery is dedicated to photography and photo based art, representing photographers from both Slovenia and around the world. In the last 21 years Barbara Čeferin curated more then 100 exhibitions of Slovenian and foreign artists in Galerija Fotografija gallery as well as in other venues in Slovenia and abroad. In 2014 she opened also a bookshop specialized on photographic arts. In 2018 under her guidance special sector for photobooks called Fotocona startet at Slovene Book Fair.

She has a degree in Photography from the School of Technology of the Polytechnic Institute of Tomar and a master's degree in Curatorial Studies from the College of Arts of the University of Coimbra. She completed her training in photography and cultural production with parallel programmes. She began collaborating with Encontros da Imagem - International Photography and Visual Arts Festival in 2015, producing and supporting exhibitions, joining the team and the Cultural Association the following year. In 2021, she joined the Board of the Association as vice-president, as well as the Festival.

Born in Barcelona, David Pujado has been based in Belgrade since 2013 where he runs Bartcelona koncept, a photography platform that has showcased more than 80 exhibitions. In 2015 he set up Belgrade Photo Month, an annual festival dedicated to exhibiting and promoting photography in Belgrade, since the 2022 biennial. In 2022 he set up the Belgrade Photo Book week that was done, for the first time, in May 2022, with 2 editions already. Actually working in the 7th edition of the Belgrade Photo Month that will open on 7.5.2025. He is also working as an independent curator. From the 2021 Curator and Coordinator of the Catalan Film Festival in Serbia, first edition, dedicated to the promotion of the Catalan Cinema in Belgrade and Sarajevo. www.belgradephotomonth.org
