By submitting work to Der Greif for the open call "Inner Landscapes," you acknowledge and agree to the following Conditions of Participation. These conditions constitute an agreement between you and Der Greif e.V., a non-profit organization located at Atelierstr. 18, 81671 Munich, Germany.
The submission and selection process is facilitated by Picter. You are required to create an account and submit your work through Picter. Picter's Terms of Use and Privacy Policy supplement these Conditions.
Submission deadline: May 10, 2026, 11:59 PM (UTC+1)
Der Greif reserves the right to adjust the deadline if necessary.
Submissions are free, with an optional voluntary donation of €5 or €10.
If you are unable or prefer not to contribute, you may request a free submission voucher via email. Donations support the operational costs of maintaining this opportunity and do not generate profit.
You may submit one project consisting of 1–10 images.
Projects previously selected in Der Greif opportunities should not be re-submitted. The aim is to highlight new and unpublished work.
Video submissions are not required for this open call and are not part of the submission format.
If selected, you grant Der Greif the right to display your work in the context of:
Online exhibition on Der Greif’s homepage (May 15 – June 15, 2026)
Editorial and promotional materials (digital and print)
Social media and communication channels
Works may be presented individually or alongside others and contextualized within curatorial frameworks.
Participation does not guarantee publication beyond the exhibition format. No remuneration is provided for participation.
All submitted works will be archived by Der Greif regardless of selection.
You may request removal by contacting info@dergreif.org. Published works will remain visible as part of the public archive.
You are solely responsible for the content you submit. Submitted works must not violate any applicable laws or third-party rights.
If selected, Der Greif will publish your name (or artist name) and, if provided, your website.
Your data will be stored for submission management, curation, and communication. Both Der Greif and Picter privacy policies apply.
By submitting, you confirm that:
You are the sole copyright holder of the submitted work
You have permission from all individuals depicted (or their legal guardians)
You have the right to exhibit all subjects and locations included
You are solely liable for your submitted works and agree to indemnify Der Greif against any third-party claims arising from your submission.
If any clause is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain enforceable.
Jurisdiction is Munich, Germany. German law applies.
