Photographs that have been selected in past Der Greif opportunities are not suitable for re-submission. Our aim is to avoid repetition and showcase new and unique work by featuring photographs that have not yet been published by Der Greif. Our ultimate goal is to support and provide opportunities to as many photographers as possible. Any images that do not comply with these conditions will not be considered for the selection process.
If your work is selected, you authorize Der Greif and third parties appointed by Der Greif to print and curate your photos for the exhibition, display your photos, or have them displayed in any format for press, marketing and communication purposes associated with Der Greif, and use, display or project your photos in the context of Der Greif and on the Internet. Der Greif will provide credit by stating either your name or, upon your explicit request, your pseudonym (artist's name) and, if possible, your URL. You agree that Der Greif is exclusively entitled to make decisions on the display of the submitted photographs. You also agree that your photos may be put into new contexts with other photographs and presented alone or in combination with other photographs. You waive all claims on remuneration.
If you are selected for the exhibition, the produced set of images (e.g. prints) will become part of the Der Greif archive dedicated to the culture of photography. Der Greif is not authorized to sell these photographs without your consent.
Further you agree that your photographs will be archived regardless of a publication. You may revoke this consent via e-mail to »email@example.com«. In case of a revocation the respective photographs will be deleted immediately after the end of the project. Photographs that have been published online will remain visible.
You declare that you are the sole copyright owner of all submitted photographs and agree to submit photographs from third parties only if you have explicit authorization from the respective copyright holders.
You declare that you have explicit consent from all people who are depicted in the submitted photographs (or their legal guardian in the case of children) to submit and exhibit them by Der Greif.
In the case of street or public photography, you assume all responsibility for exhibiting and further processing your submitted photographs. Additionally, if applicable, you declare that you have the right to submit pictures of places, buildings, landscapes, military sites or operations, means of transport, goods, and persons to be exhibited as described in these Conditions of Participation.
You declare that you are solely liable for your submitted photographs and that you indemnify Der Greif from any claims of third parties arising from the violation of these Conditions of Participation.
