An international contest celebrating joy through photography

For twenty years, YellowKorner has been guided by a simple belief: beautiful photography deserves to be accessible to everyone. Twenty years of discovering talent, sharing images that captivate, move, and transport, and building a network of 80 galleries around the world, so that everyone can enjoy them.

To celebrate this anniversary, YellowKorner is partnering with Blind Magazine, a leading online media outlet for international photography, to create a special collection by launching a unique contest: LET'S CELEBRATE! for the international community of professional photographers, regardless of their field or style, to create a unique collection centered on joy and celebration in all its forms.

A universal theme open to all photographers

The contest invites photographers from around the world to submit images centered on celebration, joy, festivity, beauty, and love – inspiring, positive images that will lift our spirits :

👉🏻 A celebration, a victory, shared joy, a summer night, a moment of deep contemplation, rediscovered pride, a symbolic object...

These are all moments that give rise to timeless, luminous, colorful, and graphic images – images that are touching, powerful, and inspiring, reflecting the sensibilities of our time.

A major fine-art group exhibition at La Hune Paris and a special YellowKorner collection

This collaborative editorial project, for which 20 photographs will be selected, will result in a major fine-art exhibition at La Hune gallery—an iconic venue in Paris’s art scene—a special collection available at YellowKorner galleries, as well as press coverage, dedicated promotional materials, and international exposure.

The selection process and the jury

Following the call for submissions, approximately 25 images will be selected by a panel of experts to form the special collection “LET’S CELEBRATE!”:

  • The Photographer and director Shelby Duncan, author of “House of Love”
  • Séverine Morel – Director of Editorial and Talent at YellowKorner and Artistic Director of La Hune Gallery
  • Eva Lafferrère – CMO, YellowKorner
  • Jonas Cuénin – Director of Blind Magazine

Those selected will have the opportunity to join the YellowKorner community of photographers, which means gaining access to global commercial distribution of their work, subject to acceptance of the additional terms and conditions that will be provided to them.
