Monica Allende is a curator, creative director, consultant, and educator with a distinguished international career in contemporary photography and visual storytelling. She is the creative director of The Blue Skies Project, a collaboration with Anton Kusters that is part of the V&A Museum's permanent collection, and works with Laia Abril on a project exploring women political prisoners. Allende also collaborates with ArtCreo in London, curating its annual Sony World Photography Awards exhibition. She has served as artistic director of both the Landskrona Foto Festival and the Getxophoto Image Festival, and was director of the FORMAT17 International Photography Festival. She works closely with CAMPO.lat, a Latin American digital platform, and regularly serves as a juror for awards and residencies. She sits on the boards of trustees and advisory boards of The Photographers' Gallery and the Deutsche Börse Photography Foundation. Previously, she was photo editor at The Sunday Times Magazine, where she launched Spectrum, its award-winning photography section.

Victoria Ismach has been curatorial coordinator at the Montevideo Centre for Photography since 2019, where she organises exhibitions in outdoor public spaces and exhibition rooms. She has served on the jury for the Sony World Photography Awards (UK, 2025) and has been a portfolio reviewer at FFALA (Brazil, 2020), San José Foto (Uruguay, 2023), CEF Córdoba (Argentina, 2024), FOCO José Ignacio (Uruguay, 2025 and 2026), and WOPHA (USA, 2026). Ismach was a curatorial assistant at the Verzasca Foto Festival (Switzerland, 2018), was part of the production team for the San José Foto Festival (Uruguay, 2018), and coordinated the Mal Abrigo Photography Days (Uruguay, 2023). She develops curatorial projects and provides support and mentoring to artists in various contexts and institutions. She is also co-founder and editor of Polenta Fanzine and coordinates the Photobook Club Montevideo. She lives and works in Uruguay.

John Fleetwood is a photography educator and curator. His work examines photography as a mode of knowledge production and circulation, with particular attention to visual cultures, ethics and socially engaged practices. His curatorial and educational practice considers how photographic meaning is produced, mediated and situated, often in African contexts. He is co-head of BA Photography at the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague (KABK) and director of Photo: in Johannesburg. From 2002 to 2015, Fleetwood was director of the Market Photo Workshop in Johannesburg.
